Rhonda Vincent
As expected, Rhonda has come out with another great recording. On this CD she has put together a mixture of solid bluegrass songs and some that are better described as country flavor. After listening to the CD, I noted that most every other song is bluegrass with the alternate being more in line with country. Maybe it just happened that way by accident? On the other hand it might be an attempt by someone trying to reach two different audiences for airplay? We're just not sure why the mixture. An all country music CD might provide a better opportunity to move into another genre if that is what is being tested here or just stay with what has worked for her in the past. Bluegrass.
When Rhonda performs bluegrass she just can't go wrong. Regardless of what material she selects Rhonda is somehow able to perform the song (if a pre-recorded one), at a new and higher level. As far as this reviewer is concerned when performing bluegrass songs Rhonda can do no wrong.
As a Rhonda Vincent fan you will enjoy this CD. As a bluegrass music fan I found myself hitting the skip track button after every bluegrass number completed so I could get to the next bluegrass song.
This is a nice CD to add to anyone's collection.

The Bluegrass Connection(tm), is the second Bluegrass Music site created on the World Wide Web. Our mission, design and concept was developed during 1994 and The Bluegrass Connection website was introduced on the Internet during 1995 and presented at the 1995 IBMA in Owensboro, Kentucky.
During our early years The Bluegrass Connection would highlight a particular band or artist for a period of time on our homepage. As a result, many bands were able to reach out to their fans and introduce themselves to new audiences quickly. Due to many inquiries and requests to bring that feature back, we are seriously considering a "featured band" on our homepage again.
