Jeff Barbra & Sarah Pirkle
Sarah and Jeff have done a great job with this CD. The music is pleasant to listen to and the material matches their style quite well. Although this CD is presented to the bluegrass community it does lack the one element that identifies bluegrass music, namely a banjo. Only one cut has a banjo and the contribution is minimal to say the least. Not to take away from the beauty of this project, I must say that the singing and instrumentation is delightful.
If you like the older type music with polish and with a great performance then look no further. However, if you need the sound of a banjo and some hard driving bluegrass instrumentation then you should look elsewhere.

Bluegrass Connection(tm)1995
The Bluegrass Connection(tm), is the second Bluegrass Music site created on the World Wide Web. Our mission, design and concept was developed during 1994 and The Bluegrass Connection website was introduced on the Internet during 1995 and presented at the 1995 IBMA in Owensboro, Kentucky.
During our early years The Bluegrass Connection would highlight a particular band or artist for a period of time on our homepage. As a result, many bands were able to reach out to their fans and introduce themselves to new audiences quickly. Due to many inquiries and requests to bring that feature back, we are seriously considering a "featured band" on our homepage again.
